007 - Back

I'm back. I'm home.
Went to this conference in the North - excessive talking and unnecessary networking sessions.

I'm so tired I feel like I can sleep for days.

006 - Yours

It is almost 2 am, a Sunday morning and I am still up with shitloads lots of data to process and reports to write. So this is the reward for getting a promotion and getting to lead my own team. Whatever happened to the leader passing on all his work to his subordinates? This job and college has been eating up my life; I absolutely refuse to work during the holidays, I shall file a request tomorrow. I deserve some time alone with Tenten

On the other hand, I have sent out an official letter to decline the offer from America. I have everything I want right here.

005 - Choice

November has always been one of the busiest months of the year. Everybody seems to want to get everything done before Christmas at the same time.  Shikamaru, I have yet to congratulate you properly; I've heard that families expecting their first child should consider starting an education savings fund, there are a lot of these products out there nowadays, if you need help just ask.

I received an official letter today from my old boss in the States, inviting me for a transfer and an early offer from an American university. I get to lead a team on my own and they are paying me three times as much. I cannot say that I am not tempted to accept it; but I need time to think about this.

And Uchiha, I bought that god damn espresso machine, thought I should let you know.

004 - Habitude

I think my caffeine addiction has just gotten a lot worse - I need approximately 3 cups of coffee during the day and 1 cup of tea after dinner to function properly. And the fact that those espresso machines are now on sale is extremely tempting really not helping.

I went to Nagano last weekend for a couple of days. I have not seen my grandparents ever since I left for the States for the summer. I am glad that they decided to move to the countryside when I told them I was going to move out after the summer. It seems that they enjoy life in the countryside more than the city; and they certainly had no problem fitting in and picking up weird... customs like trying to get me alone with the neighbour's 16 year old daughter and bringing up the word 'marriage' and 'children' way too often.

Apparently, all the drama from internship is still not over. My ex-boss has been sending me emails lately and hinting that he would very much like to have me back next summer, and if possible "it would be nice if you can transfer to America". It deserves a thought, but not until I finish all my work.

I've got enough on my hands to last me through winter.

003 - Time

There never seems to be enough time. I've been working more hours than before. Since it's the 20th anniversary of the worldwide stock market crash and October has been statistically proven to be the worst performed month of the year, everyone is getting paranoid.

I bought Tenten a rabbit. It wasn't planned, I just happened to stumble across it on my home from work. It's a lop ear and it's incredibly small it can fit in my palm. It likes to snoop around in boxes and laundry baskets, which is weird because I bought a small cushion for it and it refused to even stay in it for more than 2 seconds. Tenten seems to like it very much. We named it Latte.

Speaking of coffee, I ran out of coffee beans the other day so I decided to try a new brand. I found a place in Ginza where they sell imported Colombian coffee beans. It turned out to be godly quite good.

I'm going to Nagano to visit my grandparents. Either this weekend or the following one. So Lee, if you want to do something, you should plan it soon.

002 - Burnt

I spent the last few days peeling skin off. It was not a pretty sight. Though the trip to the beach was... quite fun enjoyable.

Apartment is still a mess, though caught up with school, work is another story. There seems to be a wave of speculation in the global market; it is rather amusing how these speculators are the reason for such volatile markets. And whatever has happened to the credit crisis and the dollar... I guess it makes my job easier since there will be a lot to comment about.

Lee, I would appreciate if you would stop stalking me. If you want to come visit, please inform me in advance. Tenten, if you still wish to come over you are more than welcome to do so.

Uchiha, I have found another coffee shop near the university district. I do not recall the name, but it is right across the computer science/engineering building of Todai. Don't overdo yourself because coffee is suppose to be inspirational.

And Nara, it was not my intention to offend you. I hope you are feeling better.

001 - Back.

Back in town. Finally.

Internship was...eventful, and NYC is still the same old NYC.

Alright. Sleep. I want to murder the kid who kept on kicking my seat for the entire flight.

[OOC: In case you haven't read Neji's app, he had an internship in NYC. He's back now and attending Todai]
